Most quick desserts like this one, base on fresh dates. If this is too sweet for you, or you just wish to try a different taste, give these fantastic choco-prune balls a go!
Feel like eating something sweet, but don’t feel like preparing? This recipe barely requires any work. Yet, the outcome is truly unexpected.
Make sure to get the sweetest dried plums possible; all the sweetness in this lovely dessert will come from them. I’ve made this recipe several times. The first time, I had prunes with pits. Because they were a bit more firm than the unpitted ones, I’ve decided to soak them a bit longer than I suggest within the recipe below. I left them for hours, making sure that they are easy to blend.
If you go with a softer kind, which, from my experience, are the pitted dried plums, you can soak them for just about 15 to 30 mins.

Try coconut mango panna cotta
In the recipe below, you will see that coconut oil is optional. If you add it, it will help firm the dessert which requires refrigeration before serving. But if you choose not to add the oil, it won’t make much difference. The choice is yours.
Instead of walnuts, you can go with hazelnuts or even Brazilian nuts. But this combination is proven to be amazing. Don’t take my word for it. Take 15 mins or your life and try for yourself!
