If I ever switch to raw nutrition, guacamole will be the deciding factor. This spectacular Mexican dip has everything a person can ask for. Creaminess and richness from the avocado, freshness of the tomato and lime, and the sharpness of the onion and spices. If you follow the best guacamole recipe, that is.

The best guacamole recipe with a twist

minutesGuacamole needs no introduction. For me, every guacamole is the best, but this recipe bears a few spices, added to make sure the taste is unforgettable.
Ingredients
3 large ripe avocados, peeled and chopped
Juice of ½ lime or lemon
1 spring onion
1 tomato diced, with seeds and middle removed
Fresh coriander or parsley, a handful
1 tsp of coriander seeds, grounded
1 tsp of cumin seeds, grounded
1 tsp of chilli flakes
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Mash the avocados in a big bowl and pour the lemon juice.
- Chop the spring onion and coriander or parsley into small pieces and add to the avocados.
- Use a mortar to ground the coriander and cumin seeds, which you will then add to the guacamole, together with salt, pepper and chilli.
- Finally, carefully stir in the chopped tomatoes and refrigerate the sauce before serving.
- For a true indulgence, serve the guacamole with homemade tortilla chips 🙂
